“I can teach you how to lift speakers without breaking your back and can also share my experience on how to run a successful equipment rental business.”
A veteran of the Grateful Dead’s 1978 shows at the pyramids of Giza, Kate Bush’s ‘The Tour of Life’, and her now-famous headset mic – Cameron Crosby is the founder of ‘The Warehouse’, reportedly the largest supplier of pro-audio equipment in Scotland and northern England for the last 35 years and one of the largest in the UK. He also has vast experience in production for television having worked on several TV shows.
When he toured India with Amjad Ali Khan and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, he noticed that most of the staff in Indian sound rental companies lacked proper training. “It was during this tour that I first had the idea of combining 2 things I love – India and sound, by offering training to sound engineers in India”, said Cameron.
Media-School.in a catalyst in the knowledge upgrade of professionals in the live sound business in India, is happy to bring you this unique opportunity to meet Cameron Crosby. On this fact-finding trip, he will share ideas and understand from you, the knowledge gaps in our industry. This will help us to design a learning experience customised to improve your work.
Meet him, share your views and contribute to shaping the future of the Indian live sound industry.
